![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Harrison rode into the Capital on a horse without a coat or a hat in miserably freezing winter, and was known as a great hero in the War of 1812, and in many Indian Wars before and after that, and in particular in the Battle of Tippecanoe against the entire nation of the Shawnee Indian tribes, in which he killed their Indian chief, and the brother of the chief, who was said to be a prophet, put a curse on Harrison that he would die in the office of the Presidency, and that every President in the United States following him, would also either die in office as President, or would almost die, every 20 years after Harrison, forever. He was 68 years old, which at that time, made him the oldest President to ever serve in office, until 1980 when Ronald Reagan became President.
